Job Description
Position Summary Under general supervision, takes diagnostic exams with utilization of radiation, magnetic fields and RF fields. Utilization of the CT scanners to perform exams of patient anatomy. Also performs related work as required. CT Technologists ensure all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient-centered care. Position Responsibilities Unit Specific Position Responsibilities Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education): Completion of a 24 month American Medical Association approved course in Radio-logic Technology. Possession of certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Possession of current Iowa Permit to Practice. Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers. Mandatory Reporter training within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
