Position Purpose:
Performs multiple imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters. Provides continuity of patient care. Assists Radiologist with procedures. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne. What you willDo:
Prepares patient, room, and equipment for procedure. Collects history data from patient and provides patient education Provides patient cares in accordance with department policy. Takes radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure. Performs multiple imaging procedures and assists Radiologist with special procedures. Performs trauma scanning. Assists with CT Guided Biopsies Performs 3D and angiographic scanning procedures. Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation. Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures. Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit, which may include: Birth-28 days: Neonate 1-18Months:

0.0 FTE; 16 hour per 2-week pay period /Varied Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography. ARRT or NMTCB registered. Must have valid IDPH permit to practice. Mandatory Reporter. BLS. ARRT or NMTCB advanced CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire- High language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy.
