Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in advanced medical imaging to an engaging healthcare environment as a CT Technologist. Your skills in computed tomography will be vital in providing critical information to support patient care teams and ensure top-quality diagnostic services.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current ARRT (CT) certification required State radiologic technologist licensure Competency in creating and maintaining high-quality CT images Minimum of one year of recent experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting Thorough knowledge of hospital radiology department protocols and safety practices Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals CPR certification (BLS) preferred
Schedule:
Contract position with flexible shift options, including possible day, evening, or overnight rotations, as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of CT examinations with precision and attention to patient comfort Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and answering questions to reduce anxiety Ensure compliance with all radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures Review and assess image quality, making technical adjustments as necessary Document procedures, update patient records, and communicate findings to physicians Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical team members to optimize patient outcomes Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to uphold operational standards
