Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by delivering timely assessments, collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals, and managing acute care situations. Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license, in good standing Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience Proficient in triage, crisis intervention, and rapid response protocols BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Demonstrated skills in IV insertion, medication administration, and patient monitoring Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain attention to detail in urgent scenarios Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients presenting to the ER Prioritize care based on acuity and implement evidence-based nursing interventions Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products according to protocol Operate and monitor specialized emergency equipment Document patient observations, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately Educate patients and families about ongoing care, safety, and discharge planning Respond promptly to emergencies, codes, and changes in patient status Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team This contract position offers the chance to make an immediate difference in a high-energy environment, while broadening your clinical experience alongside dedicated professionals.
