Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Take the next step in your medical imaging career by providing essential CT services in a hospital environment. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering quality patient care by producing accurate and detailed CT images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Qualifications:
Registered with ARRT (CT) or equivalent recognized certification. Relevant experience as a CT Technologist, including knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols. Proficiency in operating CT equipment and associated radiology systems. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and fellow staff. Adherence to patient safety and infection control standards at all times. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to provider orders and established protocols. Collaborate with radiologists to ensure images meet required standards for diagnosis. Prepare and educate patients on the CT procedure, ensuring comfort and safety. Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate preventive maintenance as needed. Follow radiation safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks for patients and staff. Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
