Category Nursing - RN - Other Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Room environments to provide high-quality patient care on a contract basis. This role demands adaptability, quick thinking, and competence in handling a diverse range of medical situations within a fast-paced setting.

Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred Exceptional communication skills, with ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-focused care in accordance with established protocols for ER settings Assess, triage, and prioritize incoming patients efficiently Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and responses to interventions Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management Participate in emergency situations, including rapid response and trauma care Maintain a safe, organized environment following all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
