In this role, you will operate advanced radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients in a hospital cancer center. Your expertise will support the cancer center with specialized procedures such as radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and attention to detail Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging procedures Assist in diagnostic evaluations by capturing clear images necessary for accurate interpretation by radiologists and physicians Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care during interventional radiology procedures and other complex diagnostics Qualifications Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT scanners, fluoroscopy units, mammography machines, DEXA scanners, PET scan systems, or nuclear medicine devices Proven experience working with radiation therapy Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols in clinical settings Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations Ability to work efficiently under pressure in emergency room settings or during interventional radiology procedures Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities for radiologic technologists Join us to make a difference through innovative medical imaging!
