Key Qualifications:

Proven experience as an X-ray Technologist and Radiologic Technologist, with skills in computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET) Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program Current and valid ARRT certification (R) required; CT (ARRT CT) preferred Active state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist Versatility in both CT and general radiography, able to operate and maintain imaging equipment Excellent patient communication and care skills Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and digital imaging proficiency

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT, X-ray, and PET images according to physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, utilizing proper positioning and shielding techniques Accurately document patient records and maintain imaging logs Assist radiologists with diagnostic procedures and contrast administration as needed Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and follow infection control standards Participate in quality assurance tasks and contribute to departmental initiatives
