Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract A Radiologic Technologist role is available on a contract basis in Concord, NC, supporting a high-acuity, Level I Trauma and teaching hospital with 1,121 licensed beds across campuses. This position offers a stable 12-hour day shift schedule every Friday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., focused on weekend coverage including holiday support as needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of radiologic procedures for adult and pediatric patients from emergency, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient settings. Utilize advanced imaging equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed general radiography, Intelli-C multipurpose units, and GE and Siemens R/F rooms. Collaborate with a diverse team of medical imaging professionals including lead technologists and modality supervisors. Maintain accurate patient records using
EPIC EMR.
Participate in call rotation alongside full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff to ensure continuous departmental coverage.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory. Minimum one year of experience preferred; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply. Strong clinical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment. Excellent communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude are essential.
