Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
Desired Experience and Skills:
Proficient in CT and PET modalities, with demonstrated experience in a healthcare setting Comprehensive knowledge of imaging equipment, radiation safety, and quality assurance practices Current ARRT (CT) or NMTCB certification required North Carolina state licensure (or eligibility) Strong patient communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively during weekend hours
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT and PET imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at every step Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to review and interpret results Adhere to established protocols, checking images for clarity and completeness Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control policies Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate necessary maintenance
