Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging with a specialized opportunity focusing on CT and CT/PET technology. This contract role is designed for professionals eager to leverage their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment and collaborating alongside skilled clinical teams.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a CT or CT/PET Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent) Valid, unrestricted state license or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date Minimum one year of relevant CT or CT/PET experience in an acute care or hospital setting Proficient in patient positioning, scan protocol selection, radiation safety, and image quality assessment Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and/or PET imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout Operate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic images Maintain detailed imaging and patient records in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to ensure optimal patient care and accurate results Adhere to all facility guidelines, including infection control, privacy, and safety standards Work scheduled holidays that coincide with assigned shifts; no on-call, weekend, or floating required This is an excellent prospect for imaging professionals seeking consistent weekday hours and a collaborative clinical setting.
