Travel Assignment Desired Skills and Experience:

Proficient in imaging, specifically CT Ability to maintain strict sterility of fields and instruments Strong communication skills for patient and family education Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy best practices Familiarity with emergency response in medical imaging Experience preparing requisitions and managing medical records Able to triage, coordinate, and delegate workflow effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain necessary imaging supplies and ensure cleanliness in scanning rooms Correctly identify patients and verify all pertinent records and reports prior to procedures Monitor patient condition throughout exams, especially after contrast administration, notifying appropriate staff if needed Assist with daily inventory, supply stocking, and equipment quality checks Take an active role in maintaining efficient workflow by triaging procedures and coordinating emergent requests Communicate patient status with multiple departments and ensure prompt post-procedure transport Strictly adhere to venipuncture and power injector protocols, and quickly process and deliver urgent imaging as required
