Job Description
Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Put your expertise in medical imaging to work in an impactful role as an X-ray Technologist. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure safety and diagnostic accuracy Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards Accurately capture, process, and transmit imaging results for physician review Maintain detailed patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care Monitor inventory and report equipment malfunctions as neededDesired Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or eligibility Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist Proficiency in operating digital X-ray equipment and PACS systems Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team This role provides an excellent opportunity to hone your imaging skills in a supportive clinical setting.
