Our team provides hospital level care in an office-based setting with a focus on amputation prevention and TAME procedures. Our practice is looking for a highly motivated, flexible, team player to join our Endovascular Interventional Radiology Team. We want someone who enjoys a challenge and making a difference in patient care. We will train the right person to be a part of advanced endovascular/image guided interventional team. We will provide help towards your IR specialty certification. The duties include but are not limited to:
  • Operating C-arm, ultrasound, IVUS & other various equipment during procedures
  • Assisting/Scrubbing procedures with physician
  • Stocking and Inventory Control
  • Keep a clean, safe environment for patients and staff members
  • Must be able to take direction and have open communication with Dr.
  • Applicants cannot have any physical restrictions to lifting or carrying heavy objects. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, wearing a lead apron. JOB TITLE
Radiology Technician
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected or normal vision and hearing to normal range. Requires good hand-eye coordination. Requires working irregular hours. Requires exposure to communicable diseases, blood or body fluids.
PRE-REQUISITES
1. Must be a licensed Radiologic Technician, with a current license. 2. Prior cath lab experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. 3. Current CPR/BLS certification is a plus More information available! Call to schedule an interview today!

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of professional radiology theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care. Knowledge of surgical, radiology and medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe environment for patients and staff. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care. Skill in preparing and maintaining records and writing reports. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to maintain Quality Control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to communicate clearly and to carry out orders quickly and effectively. Ability to follow and understand a surgical procedure and anticipate the surgeon's needs. Ability to work effectively as a team member within the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
