Tech, Interventional Radiology- Tech, Utica, New York Key Responsibilities
- Participate in high quality patient care imaging in IR Department.
- Obtain optimal radiographs.
- Assist physician in aseptic environment.
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Set up sterile equipment.
- Operate fluoroscopic equipment.
- Administer contrast dye.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment. Certifications/Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) post-primary certification preferred.
- BLS certification. Experience
- Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT-eligible.
- 1+ years clinical radiographic experience.
- Anatomy and pathology knowledge required. Compensation and Benefits
