Job Details Responsibilities:

• Must be able to make decisions and use judgment regarding selection of equipment and best technique in process of productions of radiographs
• Must be able to evaluate patient's condition in order to assist in emergency treatment
• Assessment and patient care responsibilities are delivered with knowledge of patient growth and development and are appropriate to the ages of the patients served
• Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for good high-quality images
• Assists physician during fluoroscopy procedures and practices sterile technique and prevents cross-contamination when necessary
• Performs various types of radiographs from all areas within the hospital, i.

e., OR, ER, portables, EP Lab, outpatient/inpatient

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required
• BLS required- American Heart Association only accepted.

Posted Salary Range USD $55.56 - USD $55.56 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
