Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; IR certification preferred Valid state license as required Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology preferred Strong understanding of imaging protocols and radiation safety Proficiency with IR equipment, fluoroscopy, and sterile technique Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for IR procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Operate imaging and radiographic equipment for interventional procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, stent placements, and drainages Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide prompt communication to the healthcare team Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment functionality
