Radiographer NCT _Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer/NCT_ Work location: 3136 Horizon Road

- Suite 100 Rockwall, Texas 75032, with possible travel to other locations in Richardson, Kaufman and Greenville Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Thursday (745am
- 5pm), Fridays (745am-4pm)

Here's What You Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Completion of an approved NCT Training Program (REQUIRED)
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)
- Six months of relevant work experience (PREFERRED)
- NCT registered by the Texas Medical Board upon hire (REQUIRED) BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire (REQUIRED)
What You Will Do:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards
- Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
- Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts and sets radiologic controls
- Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules and department policies Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee:
