Key Responsibilities Imaging & Equipment Operation :

Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot radiographic and x-ray equipment to execute accurate diagnostic and invasive imaging procedures.

Patient Care & Education :

Guide patients and families through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure steps; monitor patient vital signs and pulses during procedures, relaying critical data to physicians.

Documentation & Compliance :

Maintain precise clinical records, complete charge documentation, verify physician sign-offs, and adhere strictly to radiation safety and HIPAA protocols.

Team Leadership & Training :

Assist leadership with staff in-service training on radiology equipment, monitor lab safety, and serve as a departmental resource for guidance and problem-solving.

Qualifications Experience :

2-4 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist required (3-5 years of clinical experience in an Invasive Lab setting preferred).

Certifications & Licenses:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Texas State Radiologic Technologist License required Basic Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Skills & Competencies Proficiency in operating EHR, RIS, and advanced radiographic/troubleshooting equipment Strong knowledge of patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in fast-paced environments
