Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical imaging X-ray and medical assisting procedures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care through precise imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Radiologic Technologist will ensure the safe operation of radiologic equipment while delivering high-quality imaging services aligned with clinical needs. Duties Operate radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray devices with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary exposure. Maintain detailed records of procedures performed and ensure proper documentation within patient medical records. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to facilitate timely diagnostic evaluations . Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing training as required. Medical assisting providers a needed. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment (X-ray machines). Experience working in urgent care settings. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols effectively. Familiarity with medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting skills for optimal performance of imaging devices. Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication tailored to diverse patient populations. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to radiology and diagnostic processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
