Provide high-quality mammography services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare equipment, perform imaging procedures, develop films, and evaluate image quality while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and regulations. Educate and support patients throughout the process, addressing concerns and ensuring proper identification and procedure verification. Maintain radiation safety, perform quality assurance, and respond effectively to contrast reactions or emergencies. Accurately input patient data into computer systems, communicate effectively with staff and patients, and participate in shift rotations and training. Adhere to all regulatory standards, including MQSA and OSHA policies, ensuring a safe, compliant work environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, certification as a Radiologic Technologist (WA), Basic Life Support, and state registration as a Mammography Technologist or relevant experience. Preferred candidates have at least one year of mammography experience and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
