ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS
(USA) INC. ("ASL-USA") is currently seeking an Operations Coordinator, ideally based out of the Denver, CO area; open to candidates in the Phoenix, AZ area. The Operations Coordinator will work to ensure the seamless execution of project operations from inception to completion. This position plays a key role supporting on-site project management teams in the areas of safety, material management and logistics to satisfy client expectations and comply with safety and regulatory standards to ensure outstanding customer service and project delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
of the position include: Coordinate on-site daily operations and workflow for ATCO projects to ensure timely completion. Coordinate between various departments; facilitate communication among project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency and smooth project execution. Monitor and assist in the management of subcontractor scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement logistics to support project requirements. Monitor project progress; report and identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and assist in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Oversee logistical aspects, and assist in resolving operational challenges to meet deadlines. Support informed decision-making and continuous improvement of operational processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in construction management, business administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience in construction operations, project coordination, or a related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with project management software. Experience with ERP systems desired, specifically Oracle. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of safety regulations and construction processes to ensure that all activities adhere to industry standards, promoting a safe and productive work environment. Position requires extensive travel, with frequent overnight stays. Ability to effectively operate in a work environment with moderate to high exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. Work environments may also involve some exposure to physical risks, which will require following basic safety precautions and ability to wear assigned and appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to analyze operational data to support process improvements. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour).
