Job Description

Director of Activities Join Waterford Communities Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lincoln, Nebraska, where Where Home Is , and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. As the Director of Activities , you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage our residents through a variety of recreational, social, and educational programs. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program that promotes physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify residents' strengths, abilities, and interests, and create personalized activity plans Plan and conduct a wide range of activities, including recreational games, arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events Recruit and supervise activity assistants and volunteers Coordinate outings and trips for residents to local attractions and events Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities programs, making adjustments as needed Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a caring and supportive environment About the

Requirements:
