Assistant Director of Activities Role:

As an Assistant Director of Activities, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a diverse range of activities, events, and outings that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents.

This includes:

Programming and Planning:

Create and manage a calendar of events, including entertainment, educational, and social programs

Staff Supervision:

Lead and mentor a team of activity professionals, ensuring high-quality programs and excellent resident experiences

Budget Management:

Oversee program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources

Communication:

Collaborate with other departments, residents, and families to ensure seamless execution of activities

Assistant Director of Activities Responsibilities:

Develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs and interests of residents Supervise and evaluate the performance of activity staff, providing feedback and guidance Monitor and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources Foster relationships with local community organizations and vendors to enhance programming Participate in weekly meetings with the Director of Nursing and other department leaders to discuss resident care and program development
