Job Description
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.
- Develop and maintain checklists, schedules and calendar of events to ensure smooth admission to the
- Community with high emphasis placed on coordination and communication with new residents, their respective families, their moving companies, the utility companies, etc.
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department. Supply marketing staff with updated sales and marketing materials. Compose and update letters and documents for signatures.
- Upon notification of new resident, assemble welcome package and documents for that resident's admission.
- Schedule appointments with new residents to review all necessary paperwork and fees, complete forms,
- provide resident handbook and obtain signatures as required. Follow‐up to ensure all documentation is complete and fees are collected.
- Establish, maintain and communicate move in and delivery dates with all Department Directors, other appropriate staff and parties concerned, coordinate changes as necessary.
- Coordinate and participate in orientation programs. Introduce new residents to appropriate staff members.
- Schedule, coordinate and provide necessary follow‐up on new resident walk throughs in advance of move in date.
- Coordinate move in with Engineering and Housekeeping staff to ensure living area is prepared and ready for occupancy.
- Meet with new residents to provide individual instructions on parking, keys, mailbox, installation and use of telephone, cable etc.
- Schedule and coordinate with Dining Services delivery of fruit baskets and/or other hospitality welcome gifts to new residents.
- Follow and maintain professional standards and courtesies throughout the move in process.
- Submit all required completed admissions paperwork to the Director for review prior to resident admission.
- Create and provide weekly and monthly reports.
- Participate in the development of Community Newsletter.
- Demonstrate positive resident relations. Maintain a pleasant, professional attitude at all times.
- Participate in development functions as requested by Director.
- Coordinate activities with other departments.
- Attend in‐service classes and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
