Responsibilities Plan, develop, and coordinate diverse recreational programs and resident events that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical activity. Build strong rapport with residents through personalized engagement and attentive communication. Manage scheduling of activities and transportation services to ensure timely participation in outings, appointments, and community programs. Provide safe transportation for residents to medical appointments, social outings, errands, and special events using company vehicles. Collaborate with staff to assess residents' needs related to aging issues, dementia care, memory care, etc. Maintain detailed records of activities, resident participation, transportation logs, and program feedback. Foster a positive environment by encouraging resident involvement and supporting their individual interests and abilities. Experience Proven experience in event planning within senior care settings or skilled nursing communities. Prior work in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities. Strong communication skills essential for building resident rapport and coordinating with families and team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and scheduling management. Experience developing engaging programs that cater to seniors' physical, emotional, and social needs. Leadership skills to oversee activity staff or volunteers while fostering teamwork in a compassionate environment.
