About the Role As an Activities Director at Avir at Park, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. You will work closely with our care team to ensure that our programs align with our residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, and that we are always providing a warm and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that includes social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities Conduct assessments to understand the interests and needs of our residents and develop programs tailored to their unique needs Collaborate with our care team to ensure that our programs align with our residents' individualized care plans Recruit and train volunteers and staff to assist with activities and programs Manage the activities budget and ensure that all programs are conducted within budgetary constraints Monitor and evaluate the success of our programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure that they are meeting the needs of our residents Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and vendors to secure donors, sponsorship, and resources for our programs Requirements 0 years of experience as an Activities Director or in a related field Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assess and interpret data and make recommendations for program development and evaluation Knowledge of activities programming and the needs of older adults
