This contract position gives you the opportunity to utilize your nursing expertise in a dynamic setting, caring for a range of patients and contributing to positive health outcomes. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and possesses strong clinical judgment.
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Demonstrated experience in a Med Surg (Medical-Surgical) setting Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans Proficient in medication administration, wound care, IV management, and patient education Strong communication and documentation skills in electronic health records (EHR) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred Adaptable to changing patient needs and multidisciplinary teamwork
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate the condition of patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care Accurately document all aspects of nursing care in the patient's medical record Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in condition Ensure prompt and thorough communication across shifts for seamless patient care
