Registered Nurse (RN) performs functions of assessing; planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients. RN is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment. RN is responsible for promotion of collaboration with all members of health care team. RN Care Team Leader develops work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for care partner. Qualifications for the job... Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Alabama. Work requires three to six months orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department and unit policies, procedures and clinical guidelines. Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with patient and families, to elicit cooperation and allay apprehensions. Must possess analytical ability to synthesize knowledge of nursing theory and practice, assessment and planning activities, technical expertise and delegation skills to provide effective nursing care for assigned patients.
