Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Embrace the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care in Moundville, AL—a charming Southern locale rich with history, small-town warmth, and easy access to breathtaking outdoor adventures. As a travel RN in a 42-bed Cardiac Medical/Telemetry unit, you'll gain exposure to advanced cardiac care while working alongside a passionate team dedicated to optimal patient outcomes. This experience will not only enhance your clinical skills, particularly in telemetry and acute cardiac conditions, but also broaden your professional perspective through collaboration with diverse colleagues and leaders. You'll elevate your resume by caring for predominately cardiac patients with a 1:6 assignment—managing cases ranging from chest pain to arrhythmias, alongside patients with pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, GI challenges, strokes, and routine post-operative needs. Adapting to multiple units and even floating to different hospitals, you'll benefit from a breadth of patient experiences, preparing you for future leadership and specialty roles.
Schedule/Hours:
Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week Holidays as required Every other weekendQualifications:
Associate degree in nursing Current Alabama RN or compact state license (temporary licenses not accepted) Active AHA BLS (or Red Cross) certification Minimum 2 years RN experience (or at least 18 months under highest license level, with 1 year recent specialty experience) Proven proficiency in Telemetry/Cardiac care Adaptability and team-oriented mindset Willingness to float to additional hospital units/settingsResponsibilities:
