Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career by providing specialized patient care in a dynamic operating room environment. We are seeking experienced registered nurses to support surgical procedures including ortho (totals), general surgery, and neuro (spines). This contract assignment offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading surgical teams and make a meaningful impact in the perioperative setting.
Schedule:
AM shifts Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total) Pay for this opportunity is $80 per hour, with no associated agency fees.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience Proficiency in orthopedic procedures, especially total joint replacement (totals) Experience with general surgery cases Strong background working in neuro/spine cases BLS and ACLS certifications (required at start) Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced surgical environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures Scrub and circulate for ortho, neuro (spines), and general OR cases Support surgeons and surgical technologists in maintaining sterile fields and safety protocols Assess patient responses, monitor vitals, and document all care activities accurately Prepare and manage supplies, equipment, and medication specific to each surgical case Communicate effectively with surgical team members to anticipate and address patient needs Benefits include a highly competitive pay rate and the chance to gain valuable experience in multiple high-acuity specialties within a respected operating room setting.
