Qualifications:
Active RN license, eligible to practice in Alabama Proven experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing required Current BLS certification (additional certifications preferred) Strong clinical assessment and time management skills Excellent interpersonal communication and adaptability in fast-paced settings
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care to Medical-Surgical unit clients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document patient progress accurately Educate patients and families regarding procedures, care plans, and discharge instructions Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control Respond promptly to changes in patient status and support emergency interventions as needed
