What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting Proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing in a variety of surgical procedures Strong critical thinking and communication skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsSchedule/Hours:
Flexible contract shifts based on facility needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Prepare Operating Room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for each case Provide direct and specialized nursing care to patients during surgical procedures Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Monitor patient status and anticipate the needs of surgeons and the team throughout procedures Document all patient care activities and surgical events in accordance with facility policies Advocate for the safety and well-being of patients at every stage of the perioperative experienceBenefits:
