Job Description

Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate primary and urgent care to children in Pinon, AZ. In this role, you will conduct well-child exams, manage acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret labs, prescribe medications, and educate families on preventive care. You'll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff in a service-driven, team-based environment. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, adaptable to rural healthcare needs, and committed to improving access and outcomes for pediatric patients in the community. Responsibilities Provide primary and urgent pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents Conduct well-child visits, physicals, and developmental screenings Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and labs Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and wellness Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff on care plans Document all encounters accurately in the medical record Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources as needed Support quality, safety, and compliance standards in a clinical setting Required Skills Pediatric primary care Pediatric physical assessment Diagnosis and treatment of acute pediatric conditions Chronic disease management in children Ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic tests Pediatric pharmacology and prescribing Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Patient and family education Care coordination and referrals Clinical decision-making and triage
