1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring CA RN licensure, ACLS certification, and EPIC experience. Details Medical ICU unit within a 25-bed critical access hospital Day shift, 36-hour contract, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM Requires EPIC experience Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC-ALS) PALS certification preferred Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Critical care experience required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred No candidates with a prior hit on their license will be considered Additional Information Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for an assigned patient group Supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healing environment Provides patient/family education and participates in discharge planning Delegates tasks appropriately among healthcare team members Position is represented by UFCW Required vaccinations per Adventist Health policy, with medical and religious exemptions available Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates Traveler can only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
