Pay:

$40-$50 Glenwood Springs is hiring a Pulmonary Nurse to support our specialized respiratory care program. This role focuses on proactive pulmonary management, strong clinical assessment, and coordinated care to support resident stability and long-term outcomes. As the Pulmonary Nurse, you'll work closely with nursing leadership, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to manage complex respiratory needs and support consistent, high-quality care across the facility. The Role Provide skilled nursing care for residents with pulmonary and respiratory conditions Manage oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, suctioning, and related respiratory interventions Monitor respiratory status and identify changes early Collaborate with providers, therapy, and nursing teams on pulmonary care planning Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory health and prevention strategies Support efforts to reduce avoidable hospitalizations through early intervention Maintain compliance with infection control practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements What We Offer Competitive pay aligned with licensure and experience A focused pulmonary program with leadership support Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment Opportunities for continued learning and professional growth What We're Looking For Active RN or LPN license in Colorado Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in pulmonary or respiratory care (ICU, step-down, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred) Comfort with tracheostomy care, suctioning, and oxygen therapy ACLS preferred, not required SNF or LTC experience preferred This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys specialty-focused care and values consistency, clinical accountability, and teamwork.
