Ascension seeks an RN Clinical Lead to guide patient care on our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will coordinate clinical operations, lead and mentor nursing staff, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based care across a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include overseeing care plans, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration, monitoring quality and safety metrics, and promoting regulatory compliance. You will foster a compassionate, inclusive, and learning-focused environment while driving innovation and continuous improvement in patient outcomes and team performance within our mission-driven, non-profit system. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily clinical operations on assigned unit or service line Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and care team members Oversee development and implementation of individualized patient care plans Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes Monitor quality, safety, and patient experience metrics and drive improvements Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and clinical protocols Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff Promote a compassionate, inclusive, and patient-centered culture Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Serve as a clinical resource and point of escalation for complex cases Required Skills Clinical assessment and triage Care planning and coordination Medication administration and safety Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency Staff leadership and supervision Patient and family education Quality improvement and metrics monitoring Infection prevention and control Regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS) Interdisciplinary team collaboration
