Travel assignments here are a gateway to unparalleled professional development, as you'll engage with a Level 2 Trauma-designated facility, a dynamic teaching environment with a residency program, and specialized cardiac care within a Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Here, you'll work in a progressive Cath Lab, caring for patients with a range of conditions from acute chest pain to complex electrophysiology interventions. This diverse clinical experience is invaluable for enhancing your resume and allows you to develop skills in both Cath and EP procedures, while also collaborating with expert practitioners and supportive leadership. During your downtime, explore the scenic beauty of northwestern Georgia, unwind in nearby charming towns, or indulge in meaningful adventures unique to the region.
Schedule/Hours:
4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (0700-1730) 6-week scheduling cycle Call rotation: 1 day/week and one weekend every 4th-5th weekend (30-minute response time) Weekend and holiday rotations as discussed with leadership
Required Qualifications:
RN license with at least 2 years' recent Cath Lab experience Current
BLS & ACLS
certifications Competency with scrubbing, circulating, moderate sedation, critical drip management, patient prep and recovery Willingness to float to Prep/Recovery as needed; adaptability and teamwork skills EMR experience with Epic preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Scrub and circulate Cath and EP lab procedures Administer and monitor moderate sedation, manage critical medications, and ensure comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care Support a high-autonomy, collaborative department culture Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float to related areas as required
