Medicine Wheel Clinic is seeking a compassionate part-time nurse to join our outpatient opioid treatment program. Our clinic provides medication-assisted treatment with methadone and other medications for opioid use disorder in a respectful, recovery-focused environment.
Schedule:
Early-morning shifts with no evenings Monday-Friday clinic hours: 5:30-10:30 a.m.
Saturday clinic hours:
6:00-9:00 a.m. Approximately 2-6 shifts per week, based on availability Applicants must be available for some Saturday coverage
Responsibilities:
Administer medications safely and accurately Monitor patients and communicate clinical concerns Maintain medication, inventory, and nursing documentation Follow DEA, Georgia Board of Pharmacy, DBHDD, and clinic requirements Coordinate with the medical director, pharmacist, counselors, and other team members Perform vitals and blood draws Help maintain a welcoming, professional environment for patients
Qualifications:
Current Georgia LPN or RN license in good standing Current CPR certification Strong attention to detail and medication-safety practices Dependability and punctuality are essential due to early dosing hours Ability to work respectfully with individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, medication administration, or Methasoft is preferred but not required Must successfully complete required background and credentialing checks We offer consistent part-time hours, hands-on training, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
