Job Description

This position is on the Big Island of Hawai'i - Kona. Kona Health & Aesthetics is an established integrative medicine and medical aesthetics practice dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through personalized, evidence-based care. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while practicing at the forefront of hormone optimization, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, longevity medicine, and aesthetics. Whether you already have experience in these specialties or are eager to expand your skill set, we provide a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and continued professional growth. Responsibilities Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient history, physical examination, and laboratory findings Prescribe and manage: Hormone replacement therapy (HRT/TRT) GLP-1 medications and other medical weight loss therapies Peptide therapies Prescription medications and evidence-based nutraceuticals Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, or be willing to receive training Educate patients and provide ongoing support to help them achieve long-term health goals Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in Hawaii (or eligibility for Hawaii licensure) DEA registration (or eligibility) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, or women's health Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for integrative and preventative medicine Preferred Qualifications Experience with hormone replacement therapy Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications Experience with peptide therapies Functional or integrative medicine experience Experience performing aesthetic injectables Training is available for the right candidate who is enthusiastic about learning and growing within our practice.
