Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license with credentials recognized in the state of Idaho Demonstrated experience as a School Nurse or in a school-based healthcare setting Exceptional assessment and critical thinking skills, especially with seizure management Confident in working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide onsite consultation twice a week, six hours each day Develop, implement, and monitor individualized healthcare plans for virtual school students with medical needs Serve as a direct contact for health-related emergencies, particularly for students with seizure disorders Collaborate closely with school staff and families to ensure plans are practical and effective Educate staff on medical protocols and foster a safe, health-conscious environment Enjoy the flexibility of contract work while making a pivotal difference in student lives.
