We're currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. This role is critical in creating a safe, supportive, and seamless environment for patients and surgical staff alike. Your Impact As a Surgical Services RN , you'll be the patient's advocate during surgery—providing support, coordination, and oversight throughout each procedure. You'll work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure every step is performed with safety, precision, and compassion. Core Responsibilities Pre-Operative duties Completes all pre-operative documentation Prepares patient for surgical/procedural environment Ensures consents are completed prior to transfer to Intraoperative environment Intraoperative duties Operating room set up with equipment and supplies needed for surgery/procedure Ensures compliance with Operating room pertaining to Surgical sharp and sponge counts, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, and facility dress code. Ensures compliance with H&P, wrist band application, completed laboratory studies prior to entrance in Operating room Advocates for patient within Operating room Positions patient ensuring safety and pressure reduction Completion of assessments per facility policies Completion of documentation per facility policies Post-Operative duties Care of patient within
