Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients and the healthcare team. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors. Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Valid RN license.

Experience:

No prior experience required; two years of nursing experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Med Surg experience and BSN degree.
