Key Qualifications:

Current and active RN license issued by the state of Illinois Experience in pediatric and/or school nursing strongly preferred Skilled in providing care for students requiring ventilator support Committed to maintaining a nurturing and professional environment Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, individualized nursing care during school hours, with a focus on supporting the students complex medical needs Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage respiratory equipment Respond promptly to emergencies and implement protocols as necessary Maintain accurate documentation of all healthcare activities and updates to the care plan Serve as a resource to school staff and coordinate with families and multidisciplinary teams Foster a positive and safe school experience for the student
