Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience with elementary school populations strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage a full caseload and maintain documentation Commitment to fostering inclusive and successful learning outcomes Key responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress Offer guidance and strategies to staff and caregivers regarding students communication needs Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences as needed Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices This contract position runs through the end of the school year (5/31/27), offering stability and invaluable experience in a collaborative school setting.
