Key Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required Registered Nurse (RN) credentials and experience in school settings are strongly preferred Comprehensive understanding of medical reviews, IEP and 504 processes Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate care and collaborate with educational staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the school health office, including care and documentation for student health needs Conduct thorough medical reviews and support students with individualized healthcare plans Actively participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing essential health information and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate health records in line with state and district guidelines Deliver health education and support to students, families, and staff as needed This is a full-time, 37.5-hours-per-week role spanning August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
