Quick-start opportunity Make a difference in just 10 hours a week. Heart-Centered Health is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to support students at the Flint Hills Job Corps Center. Job Corps serves young people ages 16-24 as they work toward education, career training, employment, and greater independence. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide primary care in a setting where your clinical judgment and relationships with students can have a real impact. What You'll Do Provide routine primary care, physicals, and health assessments Evaluate and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions Manage medications and review labs/diagnostic testing Provide preventive care, immunizations, and sports clearances Coordinate referrals and follow-up care Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, counseling, dental, and other members of the Health & Wellness team Complete appropriate clinical documentation This is not a productivity-driven clinic role . The scope does not assign CPT coding or insurance-billing responsibilities to the NP, allowing your time to remain focused on patient care and meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications Current Kansas Nurse Practitioner license Applicable national certification DEA registration, if applicable Ability to complete required credentialing and background review Professional liability coverage or ability to obtain it Experience in primary care, family medicine, adolescent/young-adult health, occupational health, community health, rural health, or underserved populations is especially welcome.
