13 weeks | Extension potential Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)

• Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Bossier City, LA .

This position is ideal for a Med/Surg RN, Medical-Surgical RN, Telemetry RN, or Acute Care RN with recent hospital experience. The RN will provide care on a 25-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit in a fast-paced acute-care environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions Interpret cardiac rhythms and EKGs Administer medications and IV therapies Initiate IVs and perform nursing procedures Provide wound care and chest tube management Care for patients receiving cardiac drips Perform point-of-care glucose testing Recognize and report changes in patient condition Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse Follow hospital safety and infection-control standards Requirements Active Louisiana RN License Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience Recent acute-care hospital experience Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms/EKGs Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment First-time travelers: Minimum 2 years of permanent acute-care RN experience required. Required Certifications BLS
