A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Schedule includes Monday-Saturday, 6:50a-7:20p FLEX with Call. Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday on-call schedule includes 24-hr coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Massachusetts RN license.
Current O.R. experienceDemonstrated working knowledge of all principles of aseptic techniquesDemonstrated working knowledge of technical skills to operate complex surgical equipment during surgical procedures: i.e. Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Ortho, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular.
BLS required.
Recommended Requirements:
Proven leadership experienceCharge Nurse experience; ability to function in crisis situation.
CNOR Certification.
BSN preferredAs with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.
Pay Range:
$37.14 - $82.22This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
