9604990-02169 Job Description Make a real impact as a school-based RN working with a single elementary student in a supportive educational environment near Quincy, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse seeking meaningful, consistent hours during the school year. Starting September 8th, 2026, and continuing through June 24th, 2027, you'll be providing attentive care for a student with medical complexities, including a feeding tube, seizure disorder, and respiratory needs. Your expertise enables this student to safely participate in both daily classroom activities and transportation to and from school.

Qualifications:

Active RN license required Experience with feeding tubes, seizure management, and respiratory care preferred Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is highly desirable CPR/BLS certification Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one nursing support for an elementary student during transport and throughout the school day Monitor and manage feeding tube, seizure disorder, and respiratory care according to physician and IEP directives Maintain detailed health records and collaborate with teachers and staff to support the students well-being Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies Communicate clearly with the students family and school personnel regarding care updates or concerns This contract position offers 22.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at a rate of $40 per hour.
